SGL Carbon has been manufacturing carbon paper type gas diffusion layers since 1999. The production is in Germany.
Our SIGRACET GDL gas diffusion layers are manufactured using a reel-to-reel process based on PAN-based carbon fibers. The substrate is treated with 5% PTFE for water repellency. There are two types of MPL, containing 20% to 25% PTFE. As catalog products, there are four types available: GDL22BB GDL28BC GDL36BB GDL39BB New products are scheduled to be added in 2023, which will be thinner than the 22BB type. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

For small quantity sales, please contact our distributor, MFC Technology. *GDL24BA, GDL24BC, GDL25BA, GDL25BC, GDL29BC, GDL38AA, GDL38BC, GDL39AA, and GDL39BC are discontinued. Additionally, the sale of the base material only (conventional product code AA) has also been discontinued.
