A description document of plant-based (rice husk) silica with "heat insulation," "water repellency," and "flame retardancy"! We introduce its features along with application examples.
As far as our company has investigated, "plant-based (rice husk) silica" has been confirmed to have properties of "thermal insulation," "water repellency," and "flame resistance." As an application example, thermal insulation paint made from silica ash can enhance thermal insulation by preventing external heat from being transmitted inside. 【Application Examples】 ■ "Thermal insulation paint" made from silica ash ■ Water-repellent coating of silica material on fiber surfaces ■ Flame-retardant processing of urethane materials using silica ■ Used as fertilizer mixed with fish meal ■ As a blending material ■ As a treatment agent for sediment sludge in seabeds and ponds Rice husk silica can exhibit unique effects, making it applicable in a wide range of fields across various industries. Additionally, M.I.T handles technology and equipment for producing high-purity silica material from "rice husks." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
