Disaster preparedness supplies! "Small life jackets" for elementary school safety measures *Implementation case
Newly introduced as disaster preparedness supplies for elementary schools! Introducing examples of life jacket implementation.
We would like to introduce a case study of the life jackets we handle: 'TK-210C, TK-210Y, TK-200ARS.' The elementary school that has adopted these jackets is located in an area where a tsunami of about 5 meters is anticipated. Since flooding can reach the second floor of the school building, life jackets are considered necessary for protection, and they have been newly introduced as disaster preparedness supplies. They are usually stored in a warehouse, but once a year, all students participate in a disaster drill where they wear the jackets and practice evacuation (approximately 200 students in total). The fire department also cooperated in the drill, and many parents participated as well. They expressed a desire to continue conducting disaster drills. 【Overview】 ■ Adoption Site: Kasukabe Elementary School, Osaka City ■ Background: Newly introduced as disaster preparedness supplies ■ Products Introduced: TK-210C, TK-210Y, TK-200ARS *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Takahashi Lifesaving Equipment Co., Ltd. has been consistently manufacturing and selling equipment for lifesaving at the water's edge since its founding by Tadayoshi Takahashi in Osaka in 1935. The founding location, Hanmono-cho in Naniwa Ward, Osaka, was at that time surrounded by many shipyards, and the demand for lifesaving equipment to be installed on commercial vessels built there was the impetus for the company's establishment. After the war, the era entered a period of rapid economic growth. In line with this, Takahashi Lifesaving Equipment Co., Ltd. developed lifesaving equipment for leisure and working boats, and also began manufacturing oil fences and silt fences to protect waterfront environments.
