The 5689 series is a board-to-board connector with a 0.635mm pitch and a mating height of 8.0mm, designed for parallel connection between boards in a straight type (stacking) configuration. It employs a floating structure that allows for ±0.5mm movement in the XY direction during mating to absorb board misalignment and vibration, thereby improving contact reliability. Additionally, the receptacle connector features side walls despite its low profile, making it less likely for foreign substances, such as flux that may scatter during assembly, to adhere.
