Introducing a case where quality and productivity were improved through one-shot hardening with semi-open coils!
Traditionally, workpieces were moved and subjected to low-speed quenching, taking 360 seconds per piece to quench a single workpiece. This allowed for only 10 pieces to be processed per hour, which posed a challenge due to low productivity. Therefore, we adopted our one-shot heating immersion quenching. The heating time is significantly shorter compared to moving quenching, reducing the cycle time to 90 seconds per piece, which is one-fourth of the conventional time, achieving a substantial increase in production capacity.
