The rotation speed can be set in the range of 0 to 6000 RPM, with an accuracy of less than ±1 RPM, which is very good. You can simultaneously set "rotation speed," "acceleration/deceleration time," and "keep time" for one-step operations, and it features a program with 10 steps and 100 patterns (with prior notice, 20 steps and 50 patterns, or 50 steps and 20 patterns are also possible), making it easy to meet desired conditions. It is equipped with an interlock sensor that prevents rotation unless it detects vacuum suction pressure on the substrate, and it automatically stops rotation if the safety cover is opened during operation, ensuring safety. One of the frequently received requests is to make the inexpensive ACT-220AII into an automatic dripping type. It is possible to manufacture the cup size at φ220mm. However, the standard model ACT-220AII is a compact and inexpensive model that is specifically designed with a small body, leaving no room to accommodate the additional electronics for customization. Therefore, it would be a completely different device from the custom heating type, differing from the electronic circuit board. The only thing that can be the same is the cup size. Whether the cup size is manufactured at φ220mm or φ300mm as listed on this page, there will be no difference in external dimensions or cost. For this reason, the current challenge is that being able to spin coat up to a φ100mm (□70mm) substrate is sufficient, and even if the spin coater's cup size is φ220mm, many cases consider the possibility of wanting to spin coat larger substrates in the future, leading to requests for a cup size of φ300mm.
