The VF-P coat lens prevents fogging by causing small water droplets on the lens surface to spread thinly instead of forming round shapes.

It meets the 'European standard EN166 anti-fog lens specification' which states that the lens must be soaked in distilled water for 2 hours and then held above a water bath at 50°C for more than 8 seconds without fogging.
