A major manufacturer of food, food ingredients, and flavor products in the United States uses ribbon blender machines for custom mixing by ingredient batch. The company has manufacturing facilities in 25 countries around the world and was looking for ways to improve the discharge process between custom batches of raw materials. To this end, they experimentally installed eight "VA-12-TRI-TRI units" on the ribbon blender and associated hopper, aiming to streamline the cleaning process, with four units positioned on both sides of the blender, about 0.3 meters above the bottom.
