[Case Study] Issues with the Finish of Blasting Processing

Improvement by replacing or adding projection materials! The higher the proportion of sand, the more alleviated the dirt and crushing of the sand!

There is blasting equipment within the company, but the reasons it is not working well include issues such as "different finishing quality" and "inability to control surface roughness." Many of these processes are performed using a circulation-type blasting machine, and improvements can be made by regularly replacing the abrasive material or adding to it as needed. Additionally, improvements can be made by changing the machine specifications to a direct pressure type or by performing a preliminary cleaning before placing the workpieces into the machine. The higher the proportion of sand due to the abrasive material capacity within the machine, the less contamination and fragmentation of the sand will occur.
