In the building materials magazine for first-class architects, 【CLASS1 ARCHITECT 2021 vol.4】, a case study featuring our SHY roller screens installed in the "Tokoname City Hall" was published as a special article. 【Featured Project: Tokoname City Hall】 Location: 3 Chome, Hikaidai, Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture Client: Tokoname City Designer: Nikken Sekkei Nagoya Office Contractor: Kajima, Tokai Ekon, and Maltake Joint Venture This is a case where our products were adopted for a new city hall reconstruction project with a total floor area of over 9,700 m2. We supplied four types of roller screens tailored to the intended use, and we also developed a large roller screen specifically for this project. Additionally, SHY's developed partition "ZIPrailScreen" was praised for its technological capabilities and product functionality by architect Tetsuo Kobori in the inaugural issue of this magazine. Recently, our company has installed the LUTRON electric roller screen "SivoiaQS" at the large-scale project of the Tokoname City Hall in Aichi Prefecture. We have newly developed guide rails to fit within the 50mm width of the curtain wall vertical supports.
