This introduction covers the evaluation of transmittance and yellowing (yellowness) using a color difference meter. By making the product's constituent materials transparent and richly colored, necessary functional characteristics, artistic qualities, and design elements for the product's application are imparted. However, yellowing (discoloration) can occur due to the environment in which they are used, potentially compromising those characteristics.
