Metal that has undergone heat treatment develops rust known as "heat rust" due to oxidation. To apply anti-rust treatment to the product, this heat rust must first be removed. Thus, the surface treatment method called "blasting" involves blasting countless small steel particles at high speed to remove this heat rust. After heat treatment, the metal is polished cleanly through blasting, and only then are painting treatments such as anti-rust processing or coating applied.
