[Pokayoke Example] Wireless Conversion of Existing Wired Pokayoke System

Realization of wireless conversion of the current wired poka-yoke system in a short period and at low cost.

We received a request from an industrial vehicle manufacturer stating, "The current wired poka-yoke system is cumbersome and reduces work efficiency, so we would like to switch to a wireless system to reduce labor hours." To prevent omissions in the tasks of "retrieving marking pens" and "retrieving screws and parts from the parts box," the customer operates a poka-yoke system that detects retrieval tasks using photoelectric sensors. By replacing the detection part with our poka-yoke tool, we have achieved a wireless poka-yoke system. - Retrieving marking pens: We developed a compact dedicated holder modified from the Check Pen S that can be attached to a lifter positioned near the operator. When the marking pen is returned to the compact dedicated holder, it triggers a wireless transmission. - Retrieving screws and parts from the parts box: We changed the photoelectric sensor to a flexible rod-type switch, and the signal from the flexible rod-type switch is input to a compact transmitter TW-850T mounted on the parts box. When the flexible rod-type switch is touched while retrieving screws and parts from the parts box, it triggers a wireless transmission. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
