Additives not only smooth and level the surface to provide an attractive appearance but also demonstrate good defoaming properties during application and in the final coating. BYK-329 is a newly developed surface additive that combines excellent leveling properties with good defoaming capabilities. Composition: Polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane General properties: • Active ingredient 100% • Density (20°C): Approximately 0.97 g/ml • Flash point: > 150°C

Applicable Fields • Floor Coatings • General Industrial Coatings • Automotive Coatings Recommended Uses: BYK-329 is suitable for solvent-based and solvent-free two-component epoxy resins, PUR resins, and polyaspartic acid coatings. Recommended Addition Amount: 0.05-0.5% of the total formulation Addition Method: It can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process (including post-addition).
