FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and then produces the product by replacing the foam model with molten metal in a sand mold. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and allows for the creation of complex and highly precise products. For small lots, it is possible to reduce costs compared to the wooden pattern method.
