TOS700 (Material alternative to steel) Achieves a hardness of HRc55 through frame hardening. Ideal for cutting tools, or as a monolithic structure for structural materials, punches, and dies. FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and produces the product by embedding the foam model in a sand mold and replacing it with molten metal. This makes it difficult for burrs to occur and enables the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Cost reduction is also possible with the original (material alternative to steel).
