Please consider and confirm matters such as checking the robot installation environment when selecting a robot.
We would like to introduce some points for consideration and confirmation when selecting a robot. This includes checking the specifications, weight, and center of gravity offset of the workpiece (the object to be worked on) and the hand (gripping mechanism), as well as confirming the robot installation environment, the range of motion, and the installation method. Additionally, please consider the teach pendant (optional) and PC software. [Points for Confirmation and Consideration (Excerpt)] 1. Confirm the specifications, weight, and center of gravity offset of the workpiece (the object to be worked on) and the hand (gripping mechanism). 2. Confirm the robot installation environment. 3. Confirm the range of motion and installation method. 4. Consider the required specifications for the work operation and its required time (cycle time). 5. Confirm the distance between the robot and the controller (cable length). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Our company changed its name from "Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd." to "Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd." on April 1, 2020. The new name, Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd., embodies our commitment to continue evolving through contributions to society via "monozukuri" (manufacturing), while never forgetting the DNA that has driven our progress. We aim to achieve further evolution together with our customers. Leveraging the "monozukuri technology" of the Shibaura Machine Group, we offer solutions such as "system robots" that contribute to the automation, labor-saving, and efficiency of various manufacturing sites, as well as "servo systems" that serve as the driving force for all types of machinery and "industrial programmable controllers." We can broadly accommodate a variety of needs. The Control Systems Division, responsible for the development, design, and manufacturing of control devices that give intelligence to various machines in the Toshiba Machine Group, including machine tools and injection molding machines, will deliver these solutions.
