It is a machined part made from SK material hardened steel using a wire nozzle. The challenging aspect was the precision required when aligning the two halves. First, the outer diameter is processed on a lathe, and then it is cut in half using a machining center. After that, a φ0.2 R groove is machined on the cut surface, and the perpendicularity of the square push is also processed, with all processes done to a micron level.

This processing case involved the wire nozzle of a discharge machining machine. We can create jigs and tools in-house to match the customer's drawings, allowing us to process items that cannot be machined with commercially available cutting tools and reproduce the drawings.
