The brightness and darkness cage uses a material that allows infrared beams to pass through! It can be used as a brightness and darkness box even without SCANET.
A dedicated cage for the light/dark test is installed in the behavioral analysis device "SCANET-40," and the time spent in each box is measured. Mice/rats prefer dark boxes, but the administration of anxiolytics reduces their fear of the light box, leading to an increase in the time spent in the light box, activity levels, and the number of transitions between the light and dark boxes. The equipment necessary for the light/dark test and CPP test (conditioned place preference test) includes the "behavioral analysis device SCANET MV-40," "software SCL-40," and "light/dark cage." The light/dark cages are available with or without grids for both mice and rats. 【Features】 ■ Suitable for evaluating anxiolytic effects using the Light/Dark Test ■ The light/dark cage is made from a material that allows infrared beams to pass through ■ Can be used as a light/dark box even without SCANET *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

At the end of 2000, our company took over experimental equipment such as SCANET and LOCOMO from the Medical Device Division of Fine Nex (formerly Toyo Sangyo Co., Ltd.) and became independent and established. In addition to motion measurement devices like SCANET, which has a track record of 30 years since its release, we develop and manufacture unique animal experimental equipment, including feeding amount measurement devices with feeding restriction functions.
