Latest standard Wi-Fi 6E compatible wireless module SX-PCEAX

We have announced the "SX-PCEAX series," a wireless LAN combo module equipped with the latest standard IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/Wi-Fi 6E) and unique features from Silex. With the communication efficiency, stability, power saving, and speed improvements of the latest standard Wi-Fi 6, the use of wireless LAN-equipped devices such as unmanned guided vehicles (AGVs), endoscopes, and handheld terminals in environments with severe radio wave conditions, such as factories, warehouses, and medical sites, will further expand. The "SX-PCEAX series," which will begin mass production shipments in March 2022, will consist of three types: M.2, Mini PCI Express, and surface mount type.

In September of this year, the wireless LAN standard Wi-Fi 6E, which allows for domestic use, and IEEE 802.11ah, which enables long-distance communication up to 1 km, became available. As the utilization of wireless devices and the volume of communication data increase, the demand for stability and speed improvements in wireless communication is rising, necessitating the development and implementation of devices that incorporate the new wireless LAN standards. This webinar will focus on the 6 GHz band of Wi-Fi and IEEE 802.11ah, reviewing the basic knowledge, effects, and selection methods for each standard.
