We would like to introduce a case where large machinery was delivered and installed at a printing factory by performing a "complete 3D scan of the factory" from a remote location. The printing factory that requested our services was considering the delivery and installation of large machinery, but it was challenging to coordinate while gathering at the factory to see the actual equipment. Reproducing the factory in 3D required aligning with 3D CAD, which would incur enormous costs. With the "BUNSHIN" delivery simulation, it became possible to discuss and confirm the delivery route as if we were on-site, even from a remote location. This helped reduce the time and costs associated with the delivery and installation of the equipment. 【Challenges】 ■ After the COVID-19 pandemic, it is not possible to gather at the factory and coordinate while viewing the actual equipment. ■ Reproducing the factory in 3D requires alignment with 3D CAD, which incurs enormous costs. ■ While there are systems to reproduce virtually, they are merely photo-like data, making it impossible to modify the content or integrate with CAD data. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
