The Measurement and Inspection Company of Kitakyushu City has jointly developed the 'MIMM' equipped with a PENTAX 2D scanner in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, which is utilized for tunnel measurements. While in operation, it efficiently acquires color images of the tunnel lining and high-precision three-dimensional spatial position data, capable of scanning approximately 1 million points per second.
