"Kiritsuke" is the process of finishing the flatness and straightness of sliding surfaces (sliding surfaces) and reference plates of ultra-precision machine tools and measuring instruments with high accuracy. It is an indispensable technique for ultra-precision machine tools and measuring instruments, achieving flatness of less than 2 microns by hand. In machine tools, sliding surfaces prevent deformation caused by wear due to friction and frictional heat as heavy metals move back and forth. This is achieved by artificially creating oil reservoirs, which helps maintain the smooth movement of the table. [Procedure] 1. Apply light-colored dye to the surface to be machined. 2.
