The Smart Glide is used to sample media that freely falls within drop pipelines or drop shafts (vertical conduits). It moves the sample cup into the process and collects a specified amount of media (up to 250ml* depending on the type of Smart Glide). After removing the Smart Glide from the process, the cup is tilted to dispense into a pre-selected sample container such as the "LayFlat" sample storage cup. *Model name: Smart Glide maxi type
