By simply coating with Best Boron, non-combustible/fire-retardant effects can be achieved.
Boric acid is generally known to have flame-retardant properties. However, it is a material that has low solubility in water, making it difficult to handle when coating as an aqueous solution. Best Boron has succeeded in enhancing the solubility of boric acid without compromising its effectiveness by processing it.

basic information
Handling is very easy. By dissolving Best Boron in water at over 16%, you can achieve fire-retardant effects simply by coating paper or wood through methods such as impregnation or brush application. - Since it is primarily composed of boric acid, it has both flame-retardant/non-combustible properties and anti-termite effects. - It is neutral, so it does not alter the texture of materials like wood. - You can create a solution of approximately 30% boric acid. While a 16% aqueous solution is the standard offering, please consult us if you prefer the powder form.
Price information
The price varies depending on the transaction quantity. The MOQ is 10kg. The standard offering is a 16% aqueous solution.

Applications/Examples of results
Flame-retardant and anti-termite effects of wood and paper have made them designated materials in certain regions. There are examples of use in railway materials and in temples and shrines. There are also examples of use in accommodation facilities (such as the torii gate of Ise Jingu and Tatsuta Shrine).
