Our company has been entrusted with the transportation of the E7 series vehicles for the Hokuriku Shinkansen. This involves land transportation of the Shinkansen vehicles, which are assembled and manufactured at a vehicle factory in Kanagawa Prefecture, using dedicated trailers over a distance of approximately 8 kilometers from the factory to the shipping port. The transportation is carried out during late night to early morning hours, when traffic is light, with about 30 operational staff members, including drivers and ground guides, deployed to assist with the movement of two cars at a time for both the leading and intermediate vehicles of the Hokuriku Shinkansen. In June 2014, a total of 12 cars were transported, and in July of the same year, a total of 6 cars were transported. At our Yokohama Kanazawa branch, we have been entrusted with the transportation of railway vehicles used by numerous railway companies.
