However, diamond paste consists of diamond abrasive particles and a paste-like compound, allowing the particles to move freely without being fixed. Therefore, the applied pressure is not transmitted directly, preventing deep scratches. Additionally, the depth of scratches varies depending on what is used to apply pressure. The pressure transmitted to the abrasive particles differs between hard materials like bamboo spatulas and soft materials like felt, leading to differences in the finished surface.

▼Selection of Diamond Paste 〇Particle Size: Depending on the precision of the previous process and the required precision, finish in order with coarse finishing lap (90μ to 45μ), preliminary lap (30μ to 9μ), precision lap (6μ to 3μ), and mirror lap (1μ to 1/4μ). *If you want to reduce the viscosity of the paste, please dilute it with the dedicated thinner (A-602) for use. Diamond paste is intended for metal polishing. Therefore, it will not achieve a mirror finish on plastic products or lenses. Conversely, it may cause scratches or dull the surface gloss, so please refrain from using it.
