Fujikko Co., Ltd. has submitted a notification to the Consumer Affairs Agency regarding a functional food product that utilizes "black soybean polyphenols" as a functional ingredient to "reduce transient fatigue and temporary daytime drowsiness," which was accepted on December 5, 2022. The functional material "Chronocare," extracted and refined from black soybean seed coats, contains over 58% polyphenols (with low molecular weight proanthocyanidins as the main component) and exhibits very high antioxidant properties.
