Introducing a robot cell in front of the 5-axis CNC machine! The robot will perform the operator's tasks.
Precino is facing high demand for its products. While it is easy to purchase more machines to accommodate this growth, finding a skilled workforce that can work day, evening, and night shifts is challenging. The new machines do not operate continuously, which has limited trading opportunities. The company has introduced a robotic cell in front of its 5-axis CNC machines. The robot picks up parts from the conveyor and places them into the machine. If necessary, it can also flip the parts and remove them once machining is complete. While the robot performs the operator's tasks, the company is hiring highly skilled machinists capable of handling the overall manufacturing setup.
