This is an electronic compass that supports the alignment of the polar axis of a portable equatorial mount during celestial observation and photography. It has a built-in 9-axis sensor, allowing for easy and quick setting of the polar axis (toward the North Star) at the configured latitude. It is suitable for relatively short exposure astrophotography and constellation photography. For long exposure or long focal length photography, precise adjustments using a polar alignment telescope are necessary. The NS-10 can be attached to the telescope's equatorial mount; however, this method is not suitable for high magnification photography, but it is fine for simple observations or low magnification photography.
