Special magnetic filters are widely used in quenching and scale removal processes at steel mills around the world to suppress iron-based contamination and in lubricants and hydraulic equipment.
Quenching and descaling operations at the steelworks The issues of fine contaminants such as iron and steel chips, rust, and iron oxide are caused by the quenching and scaling removal processes. Effective magnetic filters in the steel industry provide significant benefits in improving the performance of water circulation systems, cooling systems, filtration devices, filter systems, and fluid adjustments, playing a major role in improving and reducing the running costs of systems, extending the lifespan of system components, enhancing reliability, and significantly increasing critical uptime. Magnum is a simple and effective technology. In the "quenching" process, steel is heated for a certain period to harden it and then rapidly cooled by immersing it in water or oil. However, during this critical process, the scale on the surface of the steel detaches when water is applied. This contaminates the fluid systems such as cooling water. The water is usually sent to a large sedimentation tank where larger chips settle out. However, smaller chips and contaminants are recirculated and reintroduced into the system and processes. As a result, they can clog valves, rotary couplings, pumps, and spray nozzles.

basic information
This is a new type of magnetic filter that has a special internal structure, capable of capturing submicron particles with magnets while preventing clogging and reflow. By using it in conjunction with conventional cartridge filters, it reliably removes fine iron powder that cannot be captured by filter paper but can cause significant damage to hydraulic circuits and gearboxes when accumulated. It is an essential next-generation magnetic filter for reducing maintenance frequency and maintaining performance. This groundbreaking magnetic filter core technology leverages the advantages of traditional filters while overcoming their shortcomings. By being installed within the circuit, it efficiently removes fine wear particles without causing clogging or reflow. Its performance is recognized worldwide, maintaining the performance of aircraft, racing vehicles, and various hydraulic and lubrication equipment.
