Standard double-glazed glass has a layer (the hollow layer) between the panes that is completely sealed. During the day, when the temperature rises, the air in the hollow layer is heated and expands, causing the glass to warp, which in turn distorts the reflected image. Additionally, the hollow layer of double-glazed glass also expands and contracts due to changes in air pressure. This is the same principle as when a snack bag or a plastic bottle swells up when you go climbing. This change in air pressure is also one of the causes that distorts the reflected image.

"Swiss Spacer Air" is a metal sleeve with a special membrane structure that allows external air to circulate while preventing water vapor from accumulating in the hollow chamber, thus preventing internal condensation and suppressing the expansion of the hollow chamber. ■ Can be used as is at altitudes of 1000m or higher. ■ Reduces the load on the sealing part, maintaining the functionality and quality of the insulated glass over the long term. ■ Minimizes distortion of reflected images caused by the expansion of the hollow chamber. ■ The Swiss Spacer Air is not visible in the hollow chamber, preserving the appearance.
