Attention to weight! Tips for choosing a fish tank stand and how to utilize steel racks.
One of the concerns when starting an aquarium is the stand for placing the tank. A tank filled with water is heavier than you might expect. If the stand is not suitable for the weight of the tank, it could warp over time or even lead to damage. Therefore, it is not recommended to place the tank on TV stands, low boards, metal racks, color boxes, cabinets, homemade shelves made from angles or aluminum frames, or wood that do not have sufficient weight capacity. Instead, consider using a "steel rack" that can support up to 500 kg. Many people use it as a tank stand because the shelves are almost flat and sturdy.
