◆Wavelength tuning range: >8nm ◆Center wavelength specification possible in C/L band ◆High-speed wavelength tuning (up to 100kHz) BW10-1550-T is a TOSA package product of a single-mode 1550nm VCSEL light source based on High Contrast Grating (HCG). By using HCG (High Contrast Grating) as a wavelength-variable mirror, it enables wafer-scale, low-cost production and achieves simple voltage-controlled wavelength tuning for various applications. The HCG VCSEL is co-packaged with a thermoelectric cooler for wavelength stabilization and is offered in a 7-pin TO56 package. It provides a maximum modulation speed of 10Gbps and a standard tuning range of 10nm. The center wavelength can be specified within the C and L bands. Bandwidth 10 was founded in 2011 by a research team at the University of California, Berkeley.
