Introduction to the evaluation of installing SS40 on JIS G 3459 SUS304TP pipe!
A performance evaluation of the SS40 fitting line installed on JIS stainless steel pipes is being requested. Therefore, pressure tests and bending fatigue tests were conducted on Lokring SS40 stainless steel products installed on JIS G 3459 SUS304TP stainless steel pipes. This test plan is based on ASME B31 regarding the quality of a series of fitting sizes. For more details, please refer to the related catalog. Company information
We handle the 'LOKRING' fittings, which provide easy and reliable pipe connections with a level of reliability equivalent to welding. The 'LOKRING' fittings were developed by NASA in 1987 and are used worldwide as a mechanical joint that serves as a non-welding alternative compliant with ASME B31. Because they can be installed easily and quickly without the use of flames, they not only enhance safety but also significantly reduce total construction costs through shortened installation times and lower labor costs. Since 2012, they have been used in many petrochemical plants, thermal and nuclear power plants in Japan, making them a reliable choice.
