We would like to introduce a case where Japan Post Co., Ltd. implemented 'iWMS X5' as a WMS for external sales aimed at mail-order shippers. The company had previously built systems to support its own logistics, but there were some aspects that were not quite suitable for directly providing to mail-order businesses. Therefore, they selected this system, which has basic functions packaged for flexibility and compatibility with mail-order businesses, and conducted joint development based on it. By outputting invoices (delivery notes and shipping labels) tailored to the shipping process, the labor-intensive task of matching invoices with packages later can be streamlined. This allows for double and triple checks by reading the shipping labels, making it possible to prevent shipping errors and mistakes in sending shipping labels.
