Proposal Deadline: 2023/6/30 Our client, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., develops, manufactures, and sells OTC pharmaceuticals, and has a unique and differentiated product lineup. Among these, products targeting the oral cavity have been handled for over 30 years, and we continue to work on improving the user experience. However, feeling the limitations of in-house development, we have decided to seek external development partners for solutions that provide a strong cooling sensation to the oral mucosa. Desired Materials: - Materials or combinations that provide a cooling sensation to the oral mucosa - Capable of delivering a stronger cooling sensation than conventional products like L-menthol - Ideally, have a track record of use as pharmaceuticals or food products Expected Proposals: We are looking forward to materials such as the following, but this is not an exhaustive list: - Substances that work through a different mechanism than L-menthol mediated by Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 8 (TRPM8) - Those that can lower the temperature of the liquid formulation through an endothermic reaction during use
