It is ideal for producing prototypes, single items, and small lots with a wide variety of products. Since molds are not required, it can be provided with short lead times and low costs. It is particularly suitable for complex shapes, thin-walled, and hollow shapes that are difficult to manufacture with machining. The finished cast products are dimensionally measured using a three-dimensional measuring machine to ensure quality assurance. It can accommodate zero draft angles and undercuts, which are features of gypsum casting.
