It is ideal for producing prototypes, single items, and small lots with a variety of low-volume products. Since no molds are required, it can be offered with short lead times and low costs. It is particularly suitable for complex shapes, thin-walled, and hollow shapes that are difficult to manufacture through machining. The finished cast products are dimensionally measured using a three-dimensional measuring machine to ensure quality assurance. It can accommodate zero draft angles and undercuts, which are features of gypsum casting.
