[Case Study] Introduction of drones for inspecting boiler power generation facilities at electric power companies.
Stable flight even in non-GPS environments! The spherical frame protects the aircraft, reducing the risk of crashes.
We would like to introduce a case where IHI Corporation adopted our "ELIOS" for boiler inspections in thermal power generation. Boiler inspections require personnel to enter the boiler, which incurs significant costs and time. Our "ELIOS" not only achieves stable flight in non-GPS environments but also allows for damage detection in a manner similar to visual inspections. [Challenges] - Inspection operations were costly and time-consuming. - A substantial amount of cost, effort, and coordination was required to supply necessary power from other generation facilities while the power generation equipment was shut down. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
