**Overview** The ELM6M003SA is a 5V 1.5A synchronous rectification buck DC/DC converter module that integrates a switching regulator IC, inductor, and output capacitor. The input voltage range is 2.5V to 6.0V, and the output voltage can be set within the range of 0.6V to the input voltage (maximum duty cycle of 100%). The constant on-time (COT) control method simplifies loop compensation and achieves high-speed load transient response characteristics. Additionally, the quiescent current is very low at 15μA (typ.), resulting in excellent light-load efficiency. Furthermore, the unique adaptive on-time control ensures that the switching frequency remains nearly constant across all load ranges. Protection features include current limiting per PWM cycle and hiccup mode, which protect the IC from overload or short-circuit conditions.
