Furthermore, by utilizing newly developed illumination techniques and the PRECiV image analysis software, inspections and evaluations that were previously deemed impossible can now be achieved. ◆Seeing the unseen: MIX observation The MIX observation of the BX series combines illumination methods of bright field, simple polarization, fluorescence, and dark field to achieve visibility that was not possible before. Additionally, dark field illumination can be directed from any of four angles, effectively highlighting the subject. ◆Basic measurements Measurement functions for images are essential for quality control and inspection. PRECiV provides basic measurement capabilities such as distance, angle, rectangle, circle, ellipse, and polygon with simple mouse operations across all main licenses. All measurement results are saved along with the image files and can be exported to Excel or used for import creation.

The MXPLFLN objective lens features a design that allows for the coexistence of maximizing numerical aperture and working distance without conflict, providing further expandability for the MPLFN series in reflected light imaging. Typically, high-resolution lenses of 20x and 50x have short working distances, which necessitates adjusting the position of the sample or objective lens to avoid contact when switching lenses. The NXPLFLN series, with a working distance of 3mm, reduces the risk of the objective lens contacting the sample, enabling faster inspections.
Excellent optical performance: Wavefront aberration control Traditionally, even when using objective lenses with the same specifications (numerical aperture (NA), working distance (WD), etc.), variations in the optical performance of the lenses themselves could lead to changes in images and measurement results. UIS2 objective lenses are manufactured under a new standard called wavefront aberration control, ensuring that the most critical aberrations are minimized. As a result, they exhibit less variation in aberrations compared to standard objective lenses, providing high-level and stable performance. ◆ Stable color temperature characteristics with high-brightness white LED illumination The high-brightness white LED light source allows for both reflected and transmitted illumination observations. Since the LED illumination maintains consistent color tones even when the brightness is adjusted during observation, it consistently delivers clear images. Additionally, LEDs generate less heat and have a long lifespan, reducing costs and eliminating the hassle of lamp replacement.
◆Support for more accurate measurements: Automatic calibration With PRECiV, using dedicated calibration samples, the scale graduations can be automatically detected at multiple points and averaged, allowing for high-precision calibration of magnification. Furthermore, variations due to individual differences are eliminated, enhancing the reliability of measurements. Even when regular calibration work is necessary, it can be performed with stable magnification each time, unaffected by the operator's fatigue on that day. ◆Elimination of minor brightness unevenness caused by samples: Shading correction If minor brightness unevenness due to the characteristics of the sample is a concern in live images, PRECiV can perform correction processing to achieve uniform brightness.
