Programs that have been escalated will forcibly terminate if the USB key is removed. ■ WinRE Activation/Deactivation via USB Key Operation It can be problematic if WinRE is disabled for maintenance purposes. No need to worry. Connecting two USB keys simultaneously will activate it (for example, connecting two keys before booting or at the login screen will activate WinRE).
