The FCS Flexible Carrier System performs linear transport, planar transport (2D transport), and three-dimensional transport in a single drive unit. It travels along a track connected by guide rails in horizontal, vertical, and curved configurations via wires, and the carrier equipped with a chuck can be fitted with mechanisms for changing the posture of workpieces, pickup mechanisms, etc., as needed.
