An exhibition was held that maximized the characteristics of the material and the punched metal by using magnetic stainless steel SUS430.
From April 3 to July 10, 2021, our company’s punching metal was used as the exhibition wall material for the exhibition "Try Try Try" by typographer and graphic designer Helmut Schmidt, held at the ddd Gallery in Kyoto. By using SUS430, a stainless steel that possesses magnetic properties, the artworks were displayed using magnets or on display shelves secured with screws in the holes, maximizing the characteristics of the material and the punching metal. Additionally, compared to installing a solid wall, the punching metal, with its perforations, created a space that did not feel oppressive, utilizing the appropriate transparency it provided.
