Hallite's OptiSeal VSP is a spring-loaded single-acting piston seal. It features a U-shaped seal jacket with a V-shaped corrosion-resistant metal spring integrated into its structure. When there is no load or under low pressure, it provides the necessary spring load to the seal lip, creating appropriate contact surface pressure. As the operating pressure increases, it acts on the sealing performance at high pressure by receiving system pressure in the U-shaped area. The standard material is a high-performance seal jacket material based on PTFE.
