Hallite's OptiSeal VSF rotary seal is a PTFE (fluoropolymer) seal equipped with a corrosion-resistant metal spring. The seal can be securely fixed to the housing by sandwiching the flange of the seal between the housing. This prevents the seal from rotating with the shaft and alleviates the clamping effect on the shaft caused by system pressure, resulting in reduced torque.
