"Fulcrum" is a furniture brand established in 2020 by our company, which operates a sheet metal construction business in Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The collection consists of three items: "stool," "hi-stool," and "bench." It features steel plates that have been processed through folding, forming a part of the seat surface and serving as the core of the structure and design. The steel plate components harmonize with the wooden seat surfaces, which have a large flat surface, creating an elegant expression in the space. Additionally, by applying sheet metal processing, the strength is increased, achieving a simple structure for the furniture. It can be used in a wide range of settings, including homes, offices, cafes, and public facilities. Our company is engaged in the architectural sheet metal industry in Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The lifestyle brand "Fulcrum" was created by combining the architectural sheet metal technology of Morimoto Co., Ltd. with the design of product designer Hiroyuki Ikeuchi. The products, conceived under several constraints, feature a refined design and processing that eliminates waste. We perceive the constraints arising from our processing as "primary elements" and challenge ourselves to find design solutions that effectively showcase them.
