Recently, there has been a surge in incidents of theft (loss) of highly toxic substances. The prevailing management methods, which lean heavily on the assumption of good faith, such as "keys stored in easily accessible places" and "history management using ledgers," create an environment where theft could occur at any time. As a countermeasure, a certain research institution has installed KEYes smart padlocks in their toxic substance storage. The KEYes smart padlock sends unlocking history to the management screen upon unlocking, ensuring reliable tracking of usage history and demonstrating high effectiveness as a measure to suppress and prevent internal misconduct. Until now, users of the baseball field had to go to the town hall by the end of business hours on weekdays to receive a key, which was cumbersome.
