xBOM is a fundamental component for building a BOM system.

Vision 1: Profit-generating "Manufacturing" The BOM (Bill of Materials) is essential as the foundation for profit-generating "manufacturing." In global manufacturing, the BOM structures the flow of operations and centrally manages template information, 3D models, drawings, processes, procurement, costs, maintenance information, and more. Vision 2: Strengthening Product Development Capability To strengthen product development capability, it is important to support simultaneous development of design and production preparation based on the BOM, and to expedite parts procurement, processing instructions, and cost simulations. By maintaining the consistency between the design BOM and the production BOM and managing it in a database, we contribute to reducing lead times during design changes. Vision 3: Support for Make-to-Order Production In make-to-order production, we establish a standard BOM and realize reuse development, managed by production numbers. By feeding back production number functions into the standard BOM, we support the maintenance and expansion of the standard BOM. We also establish a maintenance BOM to manage the installation status of products for each customer and the history of maintenance services. Vision 4: The BOM is a Living Entity The BOM configuration information generated in each department changes constantly. The goal of PLMconsole is to use a "living BOM" that can accurately represent these changes.
